Due to the absence of flash, image IQ takes a significant hit. Meaning ISO Sensitivity is greatly increased, making manual focusing a necessity. While IQ may drop, authenticity increases. Due to longer exposures, capturing more space and time, more data and information. You also avoid disrupting the flow of energy by manufacturing artificial light + eye strain.
